Welcome trick-or-treaters with our 24-inch battery-operated wreath featuring glowing pumpkins, autumn berries, and seasonal foliage. We built this wreath on a natural twig base so it works beautifully from early September through Thanksgiving.

Timer function lets you set it once and forget it — six hours on, eighteen hours off. Two AA batteries (not included) power up to 120 hours of soft LED glow that won’t overheat your door.

Materials & Construction Details

We source Halloween decorations that balance visual impact with durability across an entire season. Our lighted pieces use commercial-grade LED bulbs rated for 50,000 hours — you’ll reuse them for years without replacing a single light. Foam decorations receive a UV-resistant coating so colors stay vibrant even in direct sun.

Ceramic village pieces come from our longtime partner factory where artisans hand-paint details under magnification. Each building goes through a three-stage kiln process for strength and a glaze that resists chipping. Resin items like candlesticks use a two-part mold system that captures fine bone structure and architectural details mass production typically loses.

Sizing & Placement Guidance

Our 24-inch wreaths fit standard front doors and double-door entries when you want symmetry. For apartment doors or interior rooms, look for our 16-inch versions that deliver the same design at a smaller scale. Village sets work on surfaces 36 inches wide or longer — mantels, buffets, and console tables are ideal. If your mantel is shorter, display three buildings as a vignette and rotate pieces weekly.

Tabletop decorations like candlesticks and small pumpkin displays need six to eight inches of clearance so guests can see them from seated height. We recommend placing taller pieces like the haunted manor centerpiece at the back of a table and shorter candle holders toward the front. Outdoor pathway markers look most dramatic spaced eighteen to twenty-four inches apart — closer spacing creates a dense graveyard effect while wider spacing guides foot traffic.

Styling

Styling Tips for Different Halloween Themes

Classic Halloween lovers gravitate toward our orange and black palette — pair the LED wreath with the skeleton candlesticks and black pillar candles for a timeless look. If you prefer elegant gothic style, choose the ceramic village in all-black with silver glitter accents and skip the bright orange pumpkins. Our resin pieces work beautifully in monochrome schemes.

Modern Farmhouse Halloween

Combine natural twig wreaths with white pumpkins and muted autumn tones. The lighted wreath on a natural base pairs perfectly with galvanized metal containers and burlap table runners. Add small hay bales and cream-colored mums for a sophisticated take on fall décor that transitions easily from September through November.

Wreath lasted through two seasons perfectly
I bought the LED wreath two years ago and it still looks brand new. The timer works great so I don’t have to remember to turn it on every evening. Neighbors ask where I got it every October.

Village set is even prettier in person
The photos don’t do justice to the glitter details on these buildings. I added a few extra trees and it looks like a professional display. My kids ask to turn it on every night.

Skeleton hands are surprisingly elegant
I was worried these would look too cheesy but they’re actually really classy. I use them year-round with different candle colors. They’re heavier than I expected so they don’t tip over easily.

Tombstones survived a windstorm just fine
We had forty mile-per-hour gusts last Halloween and not a single tombstone blew over. The stakes go deep enough into the lawn that they stayed put. Very impressed with how realistic they look from the street.

DIY wreath kit made me look like a pro
I’ve never made a wreath before and this turned out gorgeous. The instructions were easy to follow and I had enough supplies to make it really full. Took me about an hour and a half.

Love that the wreath works for Thanksgiving too
The autumn colors mean I can leave this up from September through November without it looking too Halloween-specific. It’s nice to get three months of use out of one decoration.

Good to know

Halloween Decoration Questions We Hear Most

With the timer function set to six hours on and eighteen hours off, most of our LED decorations run 30 to 45 days on a single set of AA batteries. Actual battery life depends on the brand you use and temperature — cold weather drains batteries faster.

We recommend lithium batteries for outdoor pieces since they perform better in fluctuating temperatures. For indoor village displays that you turn on manually for a few hours each evening, expect two months or more per battery set.

Our wreaths are weather-resistant but work best under covered porches, eaves, or storm doors. Light mist and humidity won’t damage them, but we don’t recommend exposing battery compartments to heavy rain or standing water.

If your door has no overhang, look for our non-lighted wreath options made from all-weather materials. You can always add a separate outdoor-rated battery box if you want lights on a fully exposed door.

No, our LED lights produce almost no heat. You can safely touch the buildings even after hours of use. This makes them safer than traditional incandescent village displays, especially in homes with kids or pets.

The ceramic material stays cool to the touch and won’t scorch wooden mantels or tablecloths. Battery compartments are designed with ventilation so there’s no heat buildup anywhere in the structure.

Keep original boxes and foam inserts for ceramic and resin pieces — they’re sized to protect fragile details. Wreaths store best hanging on wreath bags or laid flat in large plastic bins with nothing stacked on top. Remove all batteries before storage to prevent corrosion.

Foam pathway markers stack flat and take up minimal closet space. Store everything in a dry, temperature-controlled area like a bedroom closet or interior storage room. Avoid attics and garages where extreme heat can warp foam and fade colors over time.

Absolutely — the wire frame and included mesh give you a great foundation, but many crafters add extra ribbon, floral picks, or small signs from our seasonal aisle. The frame accommodates additional embellishments as long as you balance the weight evenly.

You can also swap out some of the included mesh for different textures or patterns. We stock coordinating burlap ribbon, wired edge ribbon, and themed picks separately so you can make your wreath as simple or elaborate as you like.

We design with family safety in mind. LED lights stay cool, battery compartments have secure closures, and there are no small detachable parts that pose choking hazards on most items. Foam decorations are non-toxic if chewed but should still be kept out of reach of pets who like to nibble.

For homes with very young kids, skip decorations with loose glitter or small berries they could pull off. The ceramic village buildings are sturdy but can break if dropped, so display them on higher surfaces. Always supervise children around real candles in our candlestick holders — or use battery-operated flameless votives instead.

Most of our recent village pieces use a standard C7 or C9 LED bulb that we stock year-round in the lighting department. If a bulb burns out, bring your village piece into any JOANN store and our team can help you match the replacement.

For older village sets, check the product insert for the bulb type and wattage. You can also contact our customer service with your SKU number and we’ll identify the correct replacement part. LED bulbs rarely fail, but we keep common sizes in stock just in case.
